A Mom desperate to comfort her coronavirus nurse daughter found a way to circumvent social distancing rules by covering her child with a blanket
This is called mother’s love ,she always thinks about her children safety . For a mother her children is her world ,beyond them nothing is important .
Cheryl, 64 year old Mom hadn’t been able to hug her daughter Kelsey in a month over Kelsey’s fears her job would put her loved ones at greater risk of contracting Covid-19.
But when her daughter stopped by to pick up some supplies on Friday, Cheryl was so keen to offer some comfort that she devised a safe way of doing so, and grabbed a sheet from her laundry basket. Metro reported
Kelsey, who has been working 12 hour shifts at Christ Church Hospital in Cincinnati in preparation for a Covid-19 surge, even kept on her face mask to protect her mother from any droplets around her mouth or nose. Explaining the idea on Good Morning America, she said:
‘I just want to know she’s okay so when I got that one opportunity to see her, I just had to throw that sheet over her. I thought I want to hug her and if she has a sheet around her maybe I can do it.
‘I see on social media that all these healthcare workers are feeling very isolated and I didn’t want that to happen her.’
And Kelsey, who is quarantining with her husband and dog, said the embrace was just what she needed, having enjoyed a warm and affectionate relationship with her mother pre-coronavirus.
She explained: ‘It was so nice. We’ve always been big huggers and it’s been pretty unusual to do these drop-offs and not get out of the car and be able to hug her.’ The magical moment was captured by family friend Liz Dufour, a photographer with the Cincinnati Enquirer. Liz stood a safe distance away from the mom and daughter to snap the embrace.
